History
The magazine was founded in November 1981 and originally appeared monthly. It was one of the first publications devoted to computer games on home computers, although it also contained information about games on slot machines. In the mid-1990s the letter focused exclusively on the platforms for games.
In 2004 the magazine was suspended after the Future plc bought it from Dennis Publishing (along with magazine PC Zone). From this moment the writing work only in the Internet. The Publisher decided to promote their own magazine-GamesMaster-instead of resume issuing Computer and Video Games.
The magazine returned on April 16, 2008. Received a new title-CVG Presents-and was released as a bimonthly. From that point on, the magazine focused in particular on the number one issue; the first copy of the new issue was dedicated to the video game series Grand Theft Auto. In the meantime, expanded website, which enabled multiple publications about video games that do not appeared previously in digital form, for example, from the magazine PC Gamer.
