PlayStation 1 About the console
PlayStation (PS, popularly known as – the PLAYSTATION [7]) (プレイステーション) is a 32-bit video game console released in Japan by Sony Computer Entertainment, designed by Ken Kutaragiego.
Prime Minister consoles held 3 December 1994, when the first copies of the replies on the shelves of Japanese shops. More than half a year later, on September 9, 1995, the console was released in the United States, and on 29 September of the same year in Europe.

However, due to the disagreement, in 1993 Sony itself began work on its console by adding the letter X to its name – the premiere of the system drive letter has been removed, but the acronym remained – the PLAYSTATION.
